About The Position

Daniels Health is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused driver to operate a 26-foot box truck in the Stow, OH area. The role involves collecting sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare customer locations, delivering excellent customer service, and operating with a high degree of autonomy. Requirements

DOT medical card.
Willingness to work full-time hours, approximately 40 hours a week.
Passing a 7-Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
Experience operating a 26-foot box truck or larger.
A flexible, can-do attitude with a strong customer focus.
Experience operating vehicles in a safe manner (as large as 26 ft box trucks).
Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections.
Confidence in road checks level 1 through level 3.
Proven longevity in past employment.
On-time delivery practices.

Responsibilities

Safely collecting, delivering, and storing medical waste containers at customer locations.
Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships.
Operating vehicles in a safe manner (as large as 26 ft box trucks).
Completing deliveries to a time schedule, and clearly communicating changes or challenges as they arise.
Loading and unloading.
Prioritizing and organizing the truck per schedule and needs.
Managing a route per leadership's direction, delivering timely, efficient, and effective service.
Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours, and preparing for roadside inspections.
Performing heavy lifting.
Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
