About The Position

NOVO Health Services offers linen management solutions to the healthcare industry, focusing on safety and infection control. They provide value-driven linen management control systems to partner hospitals, measuring and monitoring linen utilization to eliminate excess internal costs. NOVO offers a wide range of service programs for a seamless, single-source distribution system. Their regional healthcare linen facilities are HLAC accredited and use state-of-the-art processing equipment. NOVO Health Services is the only "one stop shop" service provider in the U.S. currently serving all healthcare-related end markets with both Healthcare Laundry Services and Sterilized Reusable Surgical Solutions. The company is looking for a Non-CDL Commercial Driver to deliver finished product and pick up soiled product at customer locations (hospitals and healthcare facilities), representing the company professionally and courteously.

Requirements

• Non-CDL Class C drivers license with a clean driving record

Nice To Haves

• High School Education, GED and formal education / training preferred
• Basic computer knowledge and the willingness to learn new computer applications
• Good analytical skills to be able to determine number of carts required for orders
• 2 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or service industry
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Collect and transport soiled linen back to Skokie plant
• Load delivery truck at plant and unload at delivery location by rolling the carts from load building area to back dock
• Follow all federal, state, and local requirements according to D.O.T. rules and regulations
• Coordinate daily activities with Transportation, Plant Managers, and Team Leaders
• Maintain vehicle, preventative maintenance, cleanliness, and disinfecting after transporting of soiled linen
• Understand, observe, and adhere to all safety procedures and policies
• Assist and perform other duties as assigned
