About The Position

Daniels Health is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused driver to operate a 26-foot box truck across the Baltimore, MD area. The role involves collecting sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily. The position is a full-time, permanent role of 45 hours per week, offering job stability as an essential service to healthcare. Daniels Health is a healthcare service company providing safety systems and regulated waste collections for hospitals and other healthcare industry customers, focusing on quality and safety-focused medical waste management services.

Requirements

Minimum 2 YEARS Delivery experience within a 26 foot box truck
VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
Passing our 7 Year MVR review
Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
Proven longevity in past employment

Responsibilities

Delivering throughout MD/DC/DE/VA
Operating 26 ft box truck in a safe manner
Safely collect, deliver and store medical waste containers at customer locations
Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
Loading and unloading and organizing truck per schedule needs
Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs
