About The Position

Imperial Dade is seeking a Non-CDL Delivery Driver for their Nashville, TN location. This role involves delivering products to 20-25 customer stops per day, unloading merchandise using a hand truck, pallet jack, and dolly, and delivering it to the customer's preferred location. Exceptional customer service is a key component of this position. The driver will operate a 24’ box truck with air brakes (up to 25,999 GVW), load and unload cargo, track activity logs, report issues to dispatch, and perform pre- and post-trip truck inspections. Communication with customers in an outgoing manner is essential.

Requirements

• A good driving record
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Lift gate experience
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted
• Must be able to pass a DOT medical exam and a Non-DOT drug exam

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 24’ box truck with air brakes up to 25,999 GVW
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document the activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after the trip
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing attitude
• Deliver products to 20 to 25 stops per day
• Unload merchandise using a hand, a pallet jack, and a dolly
• Deliver merchandise to the customer's preferred location
• Provide exceptional customer service
