About The Position

Conklin Metal Industries, a fourth-generation, family-owned business since 1874, is seeking a dependable Non-CDL driver for its Atlanta North Norcross/Doraville branch. This full-time position offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule with typical hours of 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, ensuring drivers are home every night. The role involves local and regional deliveries of sheet metal, HVAC supplies, and duct fabrication materials to contractors and fabricators. Responsibilities include loading, securing, and verifying freight, performing pre-trip inspections, maintaining accurate logs, and operating pallet jacks and forklifts. While driving non-CDL vehicles, drivers must be comfortable with heavier freight (up to 122 lbs with assistance) and physical work.

Requirements

• Valid License
• Clean MVR and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen
• Ability to hook/unhook trailers and unload
• Professional, customer-facing attitude

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience preferred
