About The Position

Pilkington North America manufactures and distributes automotive and flat glass for the automotive and building industries and is part of the Nippon Sheet Glass (NSG) group. This role primarily involves delivery driving, with warehouse work as needed. The position is safety sensitive and requires customer interaction during deliveries. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Pay is $19.12 per hour, plus a shift premium.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to read maps.
• Ability to frequently lift 35–45 pounds and occasionally lift up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to operate a forklift, order picker, and basic hand tools.
• Good attendance.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Good customer relations skills, as the role requires client interaction.
• Ability to work in temperatures similar to the outdoors within the assigned Service Center.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED); preferred but not required.
• Personal computer skills, including experience with a computerized inventory system.
• Previous delivery driving, material handling, and glass experience.
• Previous commercial driving experience; preferred but not required (2-year minimum).

Responsibilities

• Deliver glass to customers promptly when necessary.
• Maintain good customer relations during deliveries.
• Receive glass shipments and unpack incoming trucks at the warehouse.
• Work closely with the lead person to provide complete customer service.
• Locate required parts in the warehouse and remove them from stock.
• Visually inspect glass and accurately load parts onto the truck for delivery.
• Stock parts in their assigned warehouse racks.
• Check inventory to maintain its accuracy for delivery.
• Receive orders from the warehouse office.
• Help maintain a positive local work environment.
