Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of non-commercial driving experience
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions
  • An aptitude for delivering top-notch customer service experience
  • Ability to pass and maintain hiring standards- background, MVR, drug testing for insurance standards
  • Capable of routinely lifting or moving inventory weighing up to 75 pounds

Nice To Haves

  • Experience assembling landscape and/or turf care equipment
  • Experience driving a truck and trailer combination

Responsibilities

  • Setup equipment according to manufacture specifications
  • Establish a solid understanding of products and equipment sold at STI
  • Load and unload products and equipment for delivery
  • Assist with warehouse duties, stocking inventory in the warehouse and in the showroom, maintaining the yard
  • Work with our field sales team and other internal associates to enhance customer satisfaction and to facilitate a team atmosphere
  • Ensure every customer interaction is marked by promptness, professionalism, and precision
  • Endure timely delivery and/or pickup of products and/or equipment to and from customer facility or job site
  • Operate vehicles in accordance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations
  • Maintain vehicles by conducting daily inspections for maintenance needs, licensing and registration expirations and reporting any deficiencies to the management
