About The Position

Watkins Distributing is a family-owned and operated beverage distribution company that has serviced Idaho and Montana for four generations. The Non-CDL Delivery Driver is on an assigned route, delivering and merchandising the company's products. The work schedule is 4, 10-hour days.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and no major driving violations.
Must be able to navigate a hand truck full of product.
Ability to utilize standard hand-held computer input/output devices.
Must be able to lift and move cases ranging from 20 - 30 lbs. regularly and 160 lbs. to waist level.
Tasks include bending, squatting, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
Operate delivery vehicle safely in frequently varying weather conditions.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Nice To Haves

Delivery driver experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Drive an assigned route, delivering product in a safe, timely, and professional manner, adhering to all traffic regulations.
Unload product from truck using a pallet jack and/or hand truck.
Check product in with store personnel.
Ensure deliveries are accurate by verifying orders and obtaining signatures.
Fill all cooler space, shelf space, and displays at the time of delivery.
Rotate all product according to company standards.
Pick up empty keg shells, damaged items, or mis-ordered product for credit.
Collect invoices and complete detailed route paperwork daily.
Communicate effectively with sales representatives and store personnel.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
