About The Position

Pilkington North America, a leading glass manufacturer for the automotive and building industries and part of the Nippon Sheet Glass (NSG) group, is seeking a NON CDL Delivery Driver. This role is crucial for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of glass products to customers, maintaining strong customer relationships, and supporting warehouse operations. Requirements

• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and an ability to read maps.
• Ability to lift 35-45 pounds on a frequent basis and on occasion up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to operate a forklift, order picker, and basic hand tools.
• Good attendance will be required.
• Proficiency in English language (verbal and written).
• Good customer relations skills – Client interaction required.
• Ability to work in temperatures similar to the outdoors within the area of the assigned Service Center.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) – Preferred but NOT required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers glass to customers promptly.
• Develops and maintains good customer relations on delivery at all times.
• Develops and maintains a positive local work environment.
• Receives glass shipments and unpacks incoming trucks at the warehouse.
• Works closely with the lead person to achieve a high level of complete customer service.
• Locates required parts in the warehouse and removes them from stock.
• Visually inspects glass and loads parts accurately on the truck for delivery from the warehouse.
• Stocks the warehouse, putting parts in their assigned racks.
• Checks inventory to maintain its accuracy for delivery.
• Receives orders from the warehouse office.
