About The Position

The Non-CDL Driver for Heritage Pool is responsible for operating a vehicle for transporting goods, products, or materials to various destinations without the need for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL). This role involves daily local travel with occasional long-distance travel, and requires physical fitness for lifting, loading, and unloading goods, as well as extended periods of driving. Drivers will work in various weather conditions and must be comfortable driving in them. The position reports directly to the Logistics Manager or Transportation Supervisor and has no direct reports.

Requirements

Possession of a valid state driver's license.
Clean driving record.
Familiarity with using navigation systems.
Proficiency in English required for communication regarding safety.
High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
Minimum 1-2 years of relevant driving experience.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in driving or logistics preferred.
Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
A vocational or technical degree in transportation or related field is preferred.
Certifications in First Aid, CPR, or Safety Training would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently operate a non-CDL vehicle ensuring all products, goods, or materials are transported to their destinations.
Perform pre and post vehicle inspections and report any discrepancies.
Load and unload vehicle as required.
Follow delivery schedule and communicate any delays or issues promptly.
Provide excellent customer service during the delivery and pick-up operations.
Maintain accurate logs of all transport and vehicle maintenance.
