About The Position

Tatham Engineering is seeking a Noise Engineer, Project Manager to join their Air & Noise, Decarbonization & Net Zero department. This role involves the design, assessment, and modeling of projects, providing technical direction, and assisting with business development. Requirements

  • P.Eng. in the province of Ontario, registered with PEO
  • Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, preferably in the consulting environment
  • A degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Environmental Engineering, Engineering Physics or a related engineering discipline
  • Strong, relevant design and project management experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with air quality engineering, emission calculation and AERMOD is considered an asset
  • Experience with GHG quantification and net-zero pathway studies is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Design/drafting using appropriate software
  • Prepare noise and vibration calculations, report writing, project coordination and management
  • Client support and management
  • Conduct noise modeling using CadnaA or STAMPSON
  • Conduct site/field visits to review and confirm existing conditions, or complete noise measurements
  • Compile and analyze data
  • Confirm regulatory requirements for the project location and determine appropriate mitigation measures
  • Prepare submissions and applications for required approvals
