This role involves providing detailed acoustic analysis, preparing comprehensive reports and recommendations, and analyzing/developing noise mitigation strategies for various engineering projects like roadway, rail and transit, and industrial facilities. The engineer will also conduct acoustic measurements, modeling, and simulations, collaborate with other professionals, stay updated on regulations, manage project timelines and budgets, and oversee the implementation of acoustic solutions during construction. Approximately 30-45% travel time is expected. The position requires providing technical expertise in noise control, sound isolation, room acoustics, HVAC noise and vibration control, and environmental noise assessments.
