About The Position

The Noise and Vibration EPM is responsible for driving large cross-functional teams in tackling a wide variety of noise and vibration issues across all Apple product lines. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine deep technical engineering expertise with program management skills. As the Noise and Vibration EPM, you will be the central voice representing the needs of the team and customer expectations. You will be critical in driving complex multi-physics noise issues to closure, balancing technical complexities and schedule requirements. The Noise and Vibration EPM works closely with engineering partners to establish best practices, solutions, and customer experiences across all of Apple’s product lines. This role requires significant cross-functional engagement from the early concept stage through mass production.

Requirements

• BSME or BSEE or equivalent
• 4+ years of experience in project management
• Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience
• Understand technical issues and drive them to closure by bringing together key partners for decision making

Nice To Haves

• Masters in Engineering is a plus
• Technical hands-on experience with any of the following: System Dynamics, Mechanical Noise, Electrical Noise, or Fan Noise
• Experience working with OEM/ODM partners

Responsibilities

• Drive day-to-day activities to meet overall project objectives/schedule from development to ramp
• Drive technical discussions with both internal and cross-functional partners
• Prioritize across multiple programs with various levels of complexity
• Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies and facilitate conflict resolution within and between teams
• Focus on top-level objectives and develop the best course of action
• Offer multiple levels of status across a wide spectrum of individual contributors to executive management
• Oversee multiple top issues in parallel requiring exceptional organizational skills
