About The Position
TeamHealth is seeking a full-time nocturnist physician to join the emergency medicine team at Las Palmas Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. The position offers the opportunity to provide care in a Level III Trauma Center serving a diverse community. The facility has an annual patient volume of 27,500, a 30-bed emergency department, 26 hours of physician coverage, and 16 hours of APC coverage. The EMR is Meditech, and clinicians use MModal Dictation to streamline charting and reduce administrative work. Las Palmas Medical Center is part of Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare. The facilities were named among America's 250 Best Hospitals for 2026 by Healthgrades. The role is offered as an independent contractor position (1099) and includes a $40,000 sign-on bonus with a two-year commitment. Requirements
- Board prepared or board certified in Emergency Medicine through the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM).
- Current ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications.
- Texas medical license and DEA, or ability to obtain them before the start date.
