About The Position
Ochsner LSU Health System – Monroe Medical Center & LSU Health Sciences Center seeks applicants for a Hospitalist - Nocturnist position. This role is for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Medicine. The position involves a 7 on/7 off schedule with a compensation of $320k plus. J-1/H-1 visas are accepted, and there is a pathway for sponsoring green cards. The position offers a collegial and multidisciplinary team of physicians and nurses for collaborative patient care planning, and physician leadership and input at all levels of administration.
Requirements
- Board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Eligible for active Louisiana Medical Licensure.
- Graduating Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residents are welcome to apply.
- Must be eligible for Assistant or Associate Professor of Medicine.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Nocturnist Physician within the Hospitalist team.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and nurses on patient care plans.
- Provide physician leadership and input at administrative levels.
