About The Position

Iris Telehealth is actively hiring Full-Time Remote Nocturnist Consult-Liaison Psychiatrists to support emergency departments and inpatient teams with high-quality psychiatric evaluations and consultations. This is a 100% remote position where you can deliver exceptional care from anywhere in the U.S. You will join a nationally recognized, award-winning behavioral health organization known for innovation, clinical excellence, and patient-centered care. The role involves making a meaningful impact by providing psychiatric care to patients in underserved communities nationwide. The position offers comprehensive clinical support, including licensing and credentialing, IT, onboarding, and administrative support. Clinicians are empowered with advanced tools, including AI-supported systems, to streamline workflows and optimize care, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Board-certified psychiatrist with consult-liaison expertise.
• Active medical license, IMLC Letter of Qualification is a plus.
• Completion of a 4-year ACGME-accredited Psychiatry Residency Program.
• Board Certification in Psychiatry required.
• Minimum of 2 years of post-residency Consult-Liaison Psychiatry experience via telehealth.
• Experience and willingness to evaluate patients ages 5+ in Emergency Department settings.
• Telehealth experience using Epic EMR required.
• Comfortable working across multiple health systems and varying levels of patient acuity.
• Reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory.

Responsibilities

• Work with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to transforming mental health care.
• Evaluate patients ages 5+ in Emergency Department settings.

• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
