Acute Care Services is seeking highly skilled Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioners (AGACNPs) and Physician Assistants with a strong clinical background in medical-surgical, Neuro ICU, critical care, and surgical settings. The ideal candidate demonstrates advanced clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to manage complex, high-acuity patients. Successful candidates will be comfortable working across multiple care environments and have experience supporting rapid-response functions, including MERIT and RAPID teams, as well as triage and the management of deteriorating patients on the floor. They must be confident in identifying clinical decline, initiating timely interventions, and collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Candidates must be able to commit to a night shift schedule of 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, working seven shifts every two weeks, including weekends and rotating holidays. This role requires individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, possess strong communication skills, and are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. The primary purpose of the Midlevel Provider is to provide patient care in the inpatient setting. The Midlevel Provider will work as a member of the MLP Nocturnal Coverage Team to provide initial assessment and management of urgent issues at night related to internal medicine or critical care needs across the institution. The Midlevel Provider will facilitate communication and carry out orders from attending physicians related to patient care.
