About The Position

This role focuses on Windows Systems Administration, involving the administration of Windows development, test, and production servers. Key responsibilities include reloading, re-imaging, patching, GPO configuration, and OS hardening. The position requires advanced troubleshooting of complex Windows OS, Active Directory, and server connectivity issues. Daily monitoring of Windows systems, services, and performance is essential, along with proactive remediation. The role also involves installing, removing, and upgrading Windows-based software packages and agents, and owning Level 2 Windows-related tickets through resolution, including root cause analysis. Additionally, the administrator will provide system evaluation reports, contribute to operational recommendations, update system records, ensure licensing compliance, and maintain accurate configuration data for Windows assets. Knowledge transfer through creating runbooks and how-to guides, and training Level 1 analysts on Windows procedures is also a part of this role.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination.
  • Strong experience with Windows troubleshooting and server administration.
  • Ability to support 24×7 operations and rotating shifts.
  • U.S. Citizenship and U.S. residency required.
  • May also hold Linux credentials if permitted.
