MedTech- NOC

CiminoCare•Woodland, CA

About The Position

The NOC Shift Manager (MedTech) is a team leader and direct supervisor of resident caregivers, ensuring residents’ needs are met, distributing medications, helping train new resident caregivers, and developing requests for in-service training. The position reports directly to the Administrator and Resident Care Coordinator (RCC). When both are absent, the Shift Manager oversees the facility’s overall flow, makes minor decisions about care on the floor, and summons emergency care if a resident is in distress. Other care decisions remain with the Administrator or RCC. The schedule is 9:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., following a four-days-on, two-days-off rotation. Work is primarily indoors, although some outdoor work is possible. The environment may be fast-paced, with noise ranging from quiet to moderately loud. Work may include weekends, holidays, overtime, or emergencies based on residents’ needs and shift schedules. Physical activities include bending, twisting, lifting up to 50 pounds, repetitive motions, standing, and using the hands to handle, control, or feel objects and tools.
