About The Position

The NOC Manager runs the Network Operations Center for Stimulus Broadband, overseeing fixed wireless and fiber networks across Nevada, California, Oregon, Missouri, and New Mexico. The role establishes 24/7 monitoring, ticketing, escalation, and on-call processes, and hires and leads the NOC Technician team as it is added from late 2026 through 2027. The position reports to the Director of Network Operations, or to the CTO until that position is filled. It is remote, with occasional travel to markets. The manager works with engineering to operate network monitoring platforms and ensure all network elements are monitored; leads incident response, outage communications, restoration, and post-incident reviews; maintains ticketing, change-management, and runbook standards; and reports on NOC performance. The role also troubleshoots and restores service remotely where possible, manages on-call rotations and escalations, and hires, trains, and manages NOC Technicians. The position requires residence in Nevada, California, Oregon, Missouri, or New Mexico; candidates in adjacent states may be considered. Work may involve extended periods at a computer, including after-hours, travel among markets, and occasional lifting of equipment or materials up to 25 pounds. Site visits to active telecommunications facilities may be required. Candidates must pass required pre-employment and random background, drug, alcohol, and cannabis screenings, and have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
