Nitrogen Pumper Technician (CDL)
About The Position
The Nitrogen Pumper Technician safely operates a mobile nitrogen pumping unit and related equipment at customer locations in accordance with Linde policies and procedures. The role supports field operations, maintains equipment, communicates with supervisors, coworkers, and customers, and completes required documentation. Technicians follow Linde’s safety culture and work collaboratively to provide professional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, meet Linde and customer background-check and drug-screening requirements, and be able to obtain or maintain a Class A CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements. At least one year of relevant experience and a basic understanding of cryogenic pumps, transports, and related compressed-gas equipment are required. Experience in chemical, refining, military, or technical-training environments is preferred. Mechanical aptitude is also required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Meet background-check and drug-screening requirements set by Linde and its customers.
- Ability to obtain or maintain a Class A CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements.
- At least one year of relevant experience.
- Basic understanding of cryogenic pumps, transports, and related compressed-gas equipment.
- Mechanical inclination and strong mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a mobile nitrogen pumping unit and related equipment at customer locations in compliance with Linde policies and procedures.
- Support the field team with rig-in and rig-out procedures.
- Manage tools, hoses, and related equipment on the jobsite.
- Perform basic maintenance on pumping and related equipment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, managers, coworkers, and customers as required.
- Complete required handwritten and electronic documentation.
- Follow Linde’s safety culture and work in a team environment to provide professional customer service while multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform other functions as directed by the supervisor.
