About The Position

Meadowbrook Village Christian Retirement Community, a non-profit organization established in 2009, is seeking a friendly and responsible individual to join its security/night desk team. As a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), we offer independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing services, with a mission to honor God by serving others with love and compassion. This role involves both standard security tasks and providing customer service to our residents.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Demonstrate professionalism with our residents, guests, and co-workers
• Have a genuine caring attitude toward seniors
• Show good decision-making skills and responsibility while working independently

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the proper locking & unlocking of gates and doors as directed
• Delivering newspapers/flyers/notices/packages
• Coordinating with staff caregivers in case of medical incidents or emergencies
• Making security rounds throughout the community and along perimeter
• Answering calls to the nighttime front desk phone
• Assisting residents’ family members during after-hours visits
• Communicating professionally and efficiently to police or emergency services
• Following company policies and procedures for reporting incidents and/or hazards
• Various other security & customer service tasks as needed
