About The Position
The Overnight Produce team member will process loads and work product. This role involves stocking the Produce Department, including product presentation, facing, filling, and organization according to store schematics. Accuracy in tags and pricing is essential. The position also includes participating in pre-inventory preparation, such as managing back stock and ensuring tags match products. Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and preparation is key. Adherence to all safety practices and procedures, including assisting with clean-up of spills, breakages, and other assigned maintenance duties, is required.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Lifting and carrying heavy boxes
- Problem and solving skills
- Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
Responsibilities
- Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner, consistent with store safety policies and procedures
- Process loads and work product
- Stock Produce Department; includes presentation of product, facing, filling, and organization of all product items as set by the grocery Department schematics
- Ensure tag and pricing accuracy
- Participate in pre-inventory preparation; includes back stock and assuring tags match products
- Sustain a high level of product knowledge and product preparation
- Follow all safety practices and procedures
- Assist with clean up of spills, breakages and other maintenance duties as may be assigned
