About The Position

Night Warehouse Associates play a pivotal role at Columbia Distributing. They are responsible for accurately picking and preparing customer orders for the delivery team. Teamwork is critical to success in this position. The role operates mostly indoors, with occasional outdoor work, and has no travel requirement. It is a full-time, non-exempt position; workdays and hours vary and may include weekends and overtime as necessary. The position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and has no people-management responsibilities.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be able to lift, carry, push, or pull 50 pounds repetitively and up to 165 pounds.
• Be able to bend, stoop, crouch, squat, and use arms, wrists, hands, and grasp.
• Be able to hear.
• Be able to read, write, and communicate in English to interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Demonstrate safety-mindedness, active listening, accountability and integrity, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.
• Be able to work independently while managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Have effective organizational and time-management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or material handling.
• Experience using a pallet jack.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick customer orders using an electric pallet jack and/or other provided technology.
• Perform duties related to shipping and picking, including picking products to pallets.
• Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Demonstrate positive, cooperative, and team-oriented behavior with coworkers, supervisors, and managers, consistent with the company's Core Values.
• Complete other tasks or projects as assigned.
