About The Position

The Night Warehouse Associate loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site. The role uses hand tools and material-handling equipment as appropriate, follows work orders or oral instructions, and helps ensure materials are correctly identified, counted, recorded, stacked, wrapped, and secured for transport. The position also includes housekeeping and grounds maintenance for the warehouse and sales center offices. Employees wear company-provided uniforms and safety equipment. Other duties may be assigned by a supervisor.

Responsibilities

Load and unload materials onto or from trucks, pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, forklift, hand truck, or electric pallet jack, as appropriate.
Read work orders or follow oral instructions to determine which materials or containers to move.
Load materials into vehicles to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
Move materials from storage sites to designated loading areas.
Count and record the number of units moved or handled, as well as breakage and spoilage, on the appropriate sheets.
Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on cases and other containers.
Stack or assemble materials into bundles and wrap bundles together.
Perform housekeeping and grounds maintenance for the warehouse and sales center offices.
Wear company-provided uniform and safety equipment.
Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor or another supervisor.
