About The Position

This role works independently to display and stock products while contributing to the financial best interest of the store. The associate helps meet company guidelines for guest experience and complies with safety and food safety guidelines. The position is based at 699 US 2, St. Ignace, Michigan 49781. Duties may include assignments in other departments based on customer experience needs, and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
Basic mathematical skills.
Detail oriented.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Retail or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in receiving, unloading, and stacking merchandise in the back room.
Fill, rotate, and merchandise shelves, cases, and displays on the sales floor.
Notify the manager when products and supplies need to be ordered.
Maintain familiarity with products carried in the departments and their locations in the store.
Handle spoiled or damaged products according to established guidelines.
Maintain clean, attractive, and well-stocked departments.
Follow personal protective equipment and safety guidelines.
Follow food safety and cleaning expectations.
Follow guest experience guidelines.
Perform tasks in other departments based on customer experience needs when assigned.
Undertake additional responsibilities as needed.
