About The Position

The Team Leader – Production Receiving is considered a Level IV Material Handler and serves as a subject matter expert within Production Receiving operations. This role supports daily production receiving, palletizing, inventory movement, staging, and storage activities while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, GMP, food safety, and inventory control requirements. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
3+ years of warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience
Must be able to lift and move equipment or materials up to 50 lbs.
Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and other departments.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proven troubleshooting skills for operational and inventory issues
Advanced math, documentation, and computer skills with the ability to learn production and warehouse systems and processes
Certified to operate Powered Industrial Trucks (forklift, pallet jack, etc.)
Experience working with inventory systems or production documentation

Nice To Haves

Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, or related field
5+ years of warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience
2+ years of direct leadership or team lead experience
2+ years of demonstrated experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanners
Familiarity with GMP or food manufacturing environments

Responsibilities

Support a team of typically 3–5 Material Handlers and may provide work direction to temporary or third-party contract employees focusing on adherence to safety, quality, GMP, cleanliness, and operational execution standards.
Train and mentor team members on Production Receiving processes, equipment operation, systems transactions, material flow, and operational standards.
Ensure adherence to safe practices, policies, conditions, and assist leadership with information to support incident investigations with corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Maintain production aisles, staging lanes, and work areas to housekeeping and 5S standards.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and palletizer equipment safely.
Verify lot numbers, labeling, and traceability for all production receipts.
Follow appropriate stacking procedures during storage to prevent damage.
Ensure correct pallet patterns are used to meet customer requirements.
Identify, segregate, and document non‑conforming product (NCP) materials.
Execute production receiving transactions accurately in Oracle WMS using RF scanners.
Receive finished goods under the correct batch with accurate lot, quantity, and location details.
Navigate inventory dashboard to assign, move, verify, and clear storage/staging lanes.
Perform RF transfers to assigned storage locations.
Identify correct pallet type, pattern, quantity, and packaging requirements for each batch.
Set up palletizer patterns and slip sheet material bins.
Participate in cycle counts, recounts, and inventory investigations.
