About The Position

The Shift Supervisor supervises licensed nurses and other nursing personnel in the delivery of care during the shift assigned. The Shift Supervisor will manage the provision of care in accordance with company philosophy, standards of professional nursing practices, and all federal and state laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Indiana RN or LPN license or ability to obtain an Indiana license.
  • Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers and staff (Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, Excellence).

Nice To Haves

  • Management experience or willingness and desire to learn proper approaches to managing staff.
  • Passion for teaching, leading and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise licensed nurses and other nursing personnel in the delivery of care during the shift assigned.
  • Manage the provision of care in accordance with company philosophy, standards of professional nursing practices, and all federal and state laws and regulations.
  • Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
  • Use clinical knowledge to exceed the needs of residents, resident families and staff.
  • Promote communication and interdisciplinary approaches to resident care.
