About The Position

The Shift Supervisor supervises licensed nurses and other nursing personnel in the delivery of care during the assigned shift. This role involves managing the provision of care in accordance with company philosophy, professional nursing standards, and all federal and state laws and regulations. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Indiana RN or LPN license or ability to obtain an Indiana license.
  • Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values (Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence) to residents, family members, customers, and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise licensed nurses and other nursing personnel in the delivery of care during the assigned shift.
  • Manage the provision of care in accordance with company philosophy, standards of professional nursing practices, and all federal and state laws and regulations.
  • Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
  • Manage staff effectively.
  • Teach, lead, and mentor staff.
  • Use clinical knowledge to exceed the needs of residents, resident families, and staff.
  • Promote communication and interdisciplinary approaches to resident care.
