The Electrical/ Mechanical Technician will be responsible for performing electrical and mechanical maintenance on all equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance (including welding) is preferred
- Knowledge of 3-phase motor wiring, starters and electrical systems required
- Ability to lift, carry and push/pull light and heavy materials
- Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stand, crawl, and walk
Nice To Haves
- Associate's degree in Industrial Electricity/Electronics preferred
- Knowledge of PLC programming, drives and control systems preferred
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot & repair equipment malfunctions
- Perform preventative maintenance to the building and machines
- Perform work related to PLC drives and VFD (variable frequency drives)
- Maintain spare part inventory
- Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
