About The Position

Hawaiian Building Maintenance (HBM) is seeking a Part-time Night Porter - Custodial to join their team. HBM has been providing quality service since 1957 and is one of the largest facility service providers in the State of Hawaii, offering janitorial, mechanical engineering, HVAC, and maintenance services. This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining a location, including restrooms and storage areas, removing trash, restocking supplies, and performing additional tasks as directed. The role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and candidates must be able to perform various physical tasks and pass a prescreen check.

Requirements

Ability to work both as part of a team and independently on assigned tasks.
Candidates must be capable of standing, walking, bending, reaching (including overhead), grasping objects, kneeling, crawling, squatting, climbing, stooping, stretching, pressing, pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting a minimum of 20–30 lbs.
Must successfully pass the HBM prescreen check.

Responsibilities

Cleaning and maintaining the location, which includes: sweeping, dusting, mopping, sanitizing, and vacuuming.
Cleaning restrooms and storage areas.
Removing trash, replacing liners, and disposing of waste in designated areas.
Restocking supplies.
Performing additional tasks as directed by the HBM supervisor.
