About The Position

Hills and Dales provides mission-driven work supporting children and adults with disabilities. We are in search of a night nurse as our current nurse would like to move to days. The Night Nurse provides nursing oversight to 59 residents with intellectual disabilities. The nurse leads a team of Direct Support Professionals in meeting any needs of the residents overnight. Hills and Dales is home to both children and adults, and we enjoy a very competent team of committed and long-term nursing staff. Nurses are responsible for providing day-to-day preventative, maintenance, restorative and emergency nursing care for the children and young adults with disabilities served by Hills and Dales. This role ensures that provider orders and treatment plans are implemented. This role also requires a collaborative working relationship with all necessary departments in the performance of its operations as well as supervising the employees assigned to third shift. This role supports a variety of health needs but assures that the overnight well-being of residents is maintained. Nurses with attention to detail, commitment to quality and compassion are an essential part of our mission! Nursing positions at Hills & Dales are unique; they generally do not require a significant amount of lifting/positioning, as these duties are supported by direct support professionals. Hills & Dales supports clients with complex medical circumstances. Nurses are tasked with really learning a resident's baseline to allow early signs of health change to be perceived quickly. Nurses support a high volume of medication administration and health assessment oversight. All Hills & Dales departments work together to wrap around and accompany clients in building a meaningful life driven by THEIR dreams and desires. Requirements

  • Free of a conviction or prior employment history of child or resident abuse or dependent adult abuse.
  • Certification as a licensed practical nurse; registered nurse preferred.
  • Driver's License

Responsibilities

Benefits

  • RN start wage: $41.91-$43.16 per hour base pay + weekend hours at 1.5x base (Premium Pay $62.86-64.74/weekend hour).
