About The Position
As the Manager on Duty for Westgate Resorts at our River Ranch, FL property, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the front desk team. We are seeking a determined individual with previous hotel management experience that possesses outstanding leadership capabilities and has a high drive to be successful. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty below satisfactorily. Additionally, the person must possess and adhere to the following core values: Integrity, Passion, Work Ethic.
Requirements
- Full open availability, night shifts
- At least 2 years of hospitality management with resort experience preferred
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Responsibilities
- Perform property inspections to ensure that service levels are of highest standards.
- Support Front Desk with any guest situations that arise
- Act as liaison between all departments to ensure proper communication and teamwork is taking place
- Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of units.
- Interviewing, hiring, and training team members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing complaints and resolving guest issues
