About The Position

Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Night Group Supervisor at Walton Academy for Growth and Change in DeFuniak Springs, FL. Walton Academy provides residential treatment to improve the lives of high-risk youth through mental health and substance abuse services. They offer skills and opportunities in various areas such as Carpentry/Home Builders Institute, Sports, and Culinary Arts. As a Night Group Supervisor, you will provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for the youth in the program and create a supportive atmosphere for their needs. This role ensures staff and students adhere to the facility and daily schedule, and that students participate in all scheduled activities. The position involves operating assigned shifts effectively and efficiently while maintaining the proper staff to student ratio for coverage according to licensing standards.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma
• Internal applicants must possess 1-year Direct Care experience.
• Must have completed Initial Qualifications (Tech 22) Training as well as Operations, Treatment and Human Resources Essential Subjects prior to placement in this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for the youth in the program.
• Provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the needs of the students.
• Ensures staff and students adhere to the facility and daily schedule.
• Ensures that the facility (unit, cottage, house, room, dorm, etc.) is on time for all elements and the students participate in all of the scheduled activities.
• Operates assigned shifts effectively and efficiently while maintaining the proper staff to student ratio for coverage according to licensing standards.
