About The Position

Capitol Distributing is the largest convenience wholesale distributor in Idaho. Founded in 1983, Capitol delivers to retailers across the Western United States from its 300,000 square foot distribution center in Caldwell, Idaho. The Night Fulfillment Clerk is responsible for finishing warehouse production and supply functions, as well as preparing the warehouse for next-day operations.

Requirements

• Warehouse/manufacturing experience.
• Ability to lift and move products of various weights.
• Ability to use an electronic scanner and technology.
• Occasional overtime to meet order demands.
• Must be able to comprehend policies and procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Experience of working in a distribution warehouse a plus.
• Experience with basic technology a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follows safety policy and procedure across the warehouse.
• Order Selector- picking various stock to fill customer orders.
• Loading- timely and accurate loading of product and produce into outbound trucks.
• Receiving- timely and accurate unloading of product and produce from inbound truck.
• Stocking- safe, accurate, and efficient replenishment of product in the warehouse.
• Inventory- performs counting of products to ensure items are accurately stored and stocked.
• Use scanning devices and technology to ensure the proper tracking of product.
• Pass qualifications to operate company equipment in the warehouse (forklift, bailer, cutters, etc.)
• Regularly communicates with Leads, Supervisors, & Managers.
• Perform other duties and work in other areas as assigned.
