About The Position

Charter Schools USA (CSUSA) is seeking a Full-Time Night Custodian to join their team at Four Corners Charter School. CSUSA is a leading education management company dedicated to providing academically rigorous education and ensuring students are prepared for college or career. The Night Custodian will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall condition of the school facilities.

Requirements

Minimum high school graduate.
A minimum of 1 year of janitorial trade experience.
Must possess the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

Clean assigned interior areas including hallways, restrooms, offices, classrooms, and the multi-purpose room.
Clean assigned exterior areas such as the school building perimeter, parking lot, and playground.
Empty trash from all receptacles.
Dust furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), window sills, and air vents.
Clean and sterilize restroom facilities.
Clean up bodily messes including vomit, feces, urine, and blood in accordance with training.
Remove waste from the cafeteria after breakfast and lunch services.
Assist with cleaning cafeteria tables and maintaining acceptable floor cleanliness.
Sterilize high-use areas to reduce the spread of bacteria and harmful agents.
Assist the Head Custodian with cleaning projects and tasks.
Assist with the creation and monitoring of building preventative maintenance processes.
Travel may be required to nearby schools or warehouse/storage.
Participate in training programs to enhance skills and proficiency.
Review current developments and literature related to janitorial responsibilities.
Ensure adherence to OSHA and maximum safety procedures.
Perform other duties as delegated by the Supervisor.
Follow federal and state laws, as well as company policies.
Carry a hand-held radio while on school property if assigned by the Supervisor.
Remain on school property from the beginning to the end of the workday, including lunch.
Report and assist with all emergency situations as needed.
Not leave campus to run errands without permission from their Facilities Supervisor.
