About The Position

This is a seasonal, part-time position for a Night Custodian. The role involves performing general janitorial duties for Steamboat Ski and Resort Corporation office and on-mountain outlets. The ideal candidate loves working nights and has professional cleaning experience. Shifts are typically from 3pm - 11pm or 5pm - 1am, and the position requires working weekends and holidays. Ski/snowboard experience at an intermediate level is preferred.

Requirements

Professional cleaning experience, preferred.
Ability to communicate both verbally and non-verbally in a positive, guest-friendly manner.
Ability to report to work timely, dressed, and prepared for daily assignments.
Adherence to all safety policies.
Ability to interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers, and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s Service Excellence standards.
Successful completion of a background check is contingent upon employment.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate verbally in the English language.
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Safely lift approximately 30-50 lbs. on a regular basis.
Ability to walk, bend over, and stand for long periods of time.
Ability to climb stairs while carrying a vacuum cleaner and other supplies on a recurring basis.
Must have a valid driver's license and meet insurability standards.

Responsibilities

Perform general janitorial duties for Steamboat Ski and Resort Corporation office and on-mountain outlets.
Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers, and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Corp Service Excellence standards.
Provide clean and sanitary restrooms, halls, lobbies, and dining areas; scrub and sanitize urinals, toilets, stalls, sinks, walls, and mop floors in restrooms.
Vacuum floors, hallways, lobbies, landings, stairways, elevators, and dining areas and mop per schedule.
Empty trash in restrooms and lobbies, shine and clean all chrome and stainless fixtures.
Clean all windows and sills of prints, dust, and bugs.
Manage keys or key cards to securely unlock and lock buildings and various venues, fulfilling security responsibilities.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
