About The Position

The Night Chaplain (Registry) will work per diem, with varying shifts, at UW Health Swedish American Hospital. This role provides spiritual care and support within a hospital setting during night shifts.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Divinity, Spirituality, Religious Studies, Pastoral Counseling, or a related field of ministry from a school accredited by a member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
2 years of pastoral ministry experience including hospital visitation

Nice To Haves

One unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE)
Endorsement or appropriate recognition of ministry by the governing body of the Chaplain’s denomination/faith group
At least one unit of hospital based Clinical Pastoral Education or its equivalent
Membership (or eligibility for membership in) the Association of Professional Chaplains or the National Catholic Chaplains.
APC Board Certification.
