About The Position

We are pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Night Auditor. This role involves executing guest reservation, check-in, check-out, payment, and service procedures in compliance with brand quality assurance standards. The Night Auditor will maintain a friendly and hospitable attitude with guests and team members, be present at the desk during all hours, and acquire and maintain knowledge of local attractions and amenities to assist guests. Responsibilities also include ensuring collections are executed in accordance with company policies, maintaining proper control over keys, safe deposits, and company/guest property, optimizing rates by monitoring competitor occupancy and rates, completing required documentation in a timely manner, and properly quoting daily rates and issuing credits. Other duties as assigned to support guest satisfaction will also be performed.

Requirements

Proficient in administration of applicable property management systems
Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations
Experience in accurate cash handling and credit cards
Experience in maintaining security of confidential information
Can pass certification tests required to meet brand standards
Experience working with a computer especially data entry
Work well with others
Always maintain a customer focus and put the guests’ needs first
Approachable and encourage effective communication with guests and fellow team members

Responsibilities

Ensure collections, including credit card and direct bill, are executed in accordance with company policies
Maintain proper control over keys, safe deposits, and all company and guest property
Ensure rates are optimized by monitoring competitor occupancy and rates
Ensure that all required documentation is completed in a timely manner
Properly quote daily rates and issues credits
Perform other duties as assigned to support guest satisfaction
