About The Position

The Night Auditor is responsible for performing all front desk related functions, including checking guests in and out, promoting sales programs, maintaining guest records, and handling cash. This role also involves auditing the previous day's receipts to verify and balance entries, running reports, and ensuring accuracy of information. The Night Auditor may also assist with breakfast setup, including food preparation, setup, service, and cleaning. This position is the sole team member on property for the majority of the shift and requires the ability to work alone. The Night Auditor is responsible for guest safety and security during overnight hours and must ensure an exceptional guest experience by providing courteous, efficient, and friendly service. They must respond promptly to inquiries, requests, and complaints with a +1 Service Attitude and contribute to a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all front desk related functions including checking guests in/out.
  • Promote sales related programs.
  • Maintain guest records.
  • Handle cash.
  • Audit the previous day’s receipts to verify and balance entries.
  • Run reports and verify accuracy of information.
  • Assist with breakfast setup, including food preparation, setup, service, and cleaning.
  • Ensure guest safety and security during overnight hours.
  • Provide courteous, efficient, and friendly service to all guests and potential guests.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to inquiries, requests, and complaints.
  • Maintain a positive work environment.
  • Maintain the front desk lobby area in a clean and organized manner.
  • Comply with hotel’s safety and security rules and instructions.
