About The Position

The Night Auditor is responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing front desk operations during overnight shifts, and ensuring all guest inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly. This role involves registering and processing guests, maintaining professional telephone etiquette, and anticipating guest needs. The Night Auditor also ensures the cleanliness and professionalism of public areas and the hotel office, utilizes selling techniques to maximize revenue, and completes daily management operations reports. Accuracy in guest accounts and a thorough knowledge of hotel services, facilities, and the local area are essential. Compliance with hotel operating procedures, policies, and safety protocols is required. The role also involves assisting team members and other departments to ensure operational efficiency, delivering amenities, and performing additional duties as assigned by leadership.

  • Uses appropriate selling techniques to maximize revenue and occupancy.
  • Completes daily management operations reports.
  • Ensures all guest accounts are complete and accurate.
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of all services and facilities of the hotel and local area.
  • Complies with the hotel's standard operating procedures and policies.
  • Assists in monitoring and upholding procedures for safety of guests and hotel team members.
  • Assists team members and other departments as needed to contribute to operational efficiency.
  • Delivers amenities and general assistance to guests as requested.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
