About The Position

This is an overnight position where the Night Auditor performs the manager-on-duty role during 3rd shift. The role involves anticipating and responding to guests in a friendly and positive manner, providing the highest level of service. Responsibilities include processing check-ins and check-outs, verifying billing, creating reservations, and processing special requests. The Night Auditor will assist guests by providing information about the hotel property, local attractions, and operating hours of hotel outlets and services. The ability to work independently or in a team to meet guest needs is essential, along with actively contributing to other departments when necessary. A key part of the role is accurately balancing all revenue sources and completing daily financial reports, processing no-show reservations, and preparing financial reports for managerial review. The Night Auditor is responsible for closing the financial day for the hotel. After completing financial tasks, the role involves working on assigned additional projects, stocking supplies, and assisting other overnight staff as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED

Accountable for accurately balancing all revenue sources and completing daily financial reports.
Process no-show reservations, prepare financial reports for managerial review.
Close the financial day for the hotel.
