About The Position

We are currently accepting applications for an energetic, experienced Night Auditor to join the team here at Embassy Suites Orlando Lake Buena Vista South. Our award-winning property is 300 suites with 40,000 sq. ft. of meeting, pre-function, and event space. We have a well-tenured management team, which runs this very busy hotel and convention center in an exceptional manner with high standards, expectations, and strong results orientation. Candidate must be able to ensure a timely and accurate completion of the End of Day Process. Responsibilities include ensuring a smooth and effective 3rd shift operation which includes accurately completing daily statistical reports. Must be flexible to complete any additional tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of Night Audit experience in a hotel, preferred.
  • Able to handle a multitude of tasks in an ever-changing environment.
  • Effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying, and responding to the concerns and issues raised by guests and members.
  • Ability to communicate in the English language.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to create and maintain spreadsheets.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, or divide quickly, correctly, and in a way that allows one to solve work-related issues.
  • Experience using computers and software programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends and able to perform multiple tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Second language is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a smooth, effective 3rd shift operation.
  • Provide assistance in Front Desk areas.
  • Accurately complete daily statistical reports.
  • Ensure front desk agent's compliance with accounting and auditing procedures.
  • Audit and close down Oracle.
  • Audit daily front desk work.
  • Bring down computer interface.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of auditing procedures.
  • Ensure system is in balance through the Preliminary audit function.
  • Ensure timely completion of the End of Day report.
  • Report items necessitating attention.
  • Summarize and report restaurants and bars activity for previous day.
  • Be prepared to discuss occupancy results and evening activity to management.
  • Complete any other tasks requested by Front Office Manager.
  • Command working knowledge of the Logistics system.
  • Command working knowledge of accounting procedures.
  • Command working knowledge of Front desk operation.
  • Command working knowledge of computer interface.
  • Command working knowledge of Excel and Word.
