About The Position

The Night Auditor works the overnight shift from 11 PM to 7 AM at the Residence Inn Portland Hillsboro. This role welcomes guests, handles check-ins and reservations, responds to late-night questions, completes the night audit, balances accounts, and finalizes transactions. The Night Auditor also conducts security walks, prepares daily reports and the Daily Flash Report, and coordinates with other departments to support smooth operations and quality guest service. Candidates should be comfortable working independently and using Windows, spreadsheets, and word-processing documents.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in a hotel or related field.
• Fluency with Windows, spreadsheets, and word-processing documents.
• Ability to solve problems independently.

Nice To Haves

• College coursework is beneficial.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests during the overnight shift and handle check-ins, reservations, and guest questions.
• Complete the night audit, balance accounts, and finalize transactions.
• Conduct regular security walks to help keep the property safe.
