About The Position

The Ramada Luling is looking for a Night Auditor. The Night Auditor is responsible for reconciling all hotel cashier transactions, reviewing, organizing, and compiling management reports on a timely basis, and ensuring the accuracy of guest billings and city ledger transactions. This role also involves effectively communicating concerns and/or related issues to all levels of management and performing guest service agent duties as required, including check-in, check-out, switchboard operation, and reservations.

  • Ability to maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
  • Ability to greet and welcome all guests approaching the Front Desk in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Ability to answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, and hours of operation in a timely manner.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming when working.
  • Ability to follow all cash handling and credit policies.
  • Ability to obtain all necessary information when taking room and handling check-ins and checkouts in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner.
  • Ability to comprehend and operate all relevant aspects of the Front Desk computer system.
  • Ability to audit and reconcile financial and statistical reports.
  • Ability to ensure accuracy of all numbers reported including statistics.
  • Ability to input and update financial information into corporate communications network.
  • Ability to perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual data processing system functions as required.
  • Ability to keep management abreast of any unusual operational or financial events and/or deviations of policies or procedures.
