About The Position
The Night Auditor plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of a hotel's financial records by performing end-of-day accounting and auditing tasks during the overnight shift. This position is responsible for reconciling daily transactions, verifying guest accounts, and preparing detailed financial reports that support management decision-making. The Night Auditor also serves as a key point of contact for guests during nighttime hours, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any issues that arise. Requirements

- Experience with hotel property management systems or similar software.

Nice To Haves
- Associate’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, hospitality management, or related field.
- Previous experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar hospitality accounting role.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision.
- Bilingual skills to assist a diverse guest population.
Responsibilities
- Perform nightly audit of all hotel financial transactions, including room charges, payments, and adjustments.
- Reconcile daily revenue and prepare accurate financial reports for management review.
- Verify guest accounts and resolve discrepancies to ensure billing accuracy.
- Provide front desk support during overnight hours, including guest check-in and check-out.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and prepare documentation for accounting purposes.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless communication and operational efficiency.
