The MCR standard is to provide clean, friendly, well-organized and safe hotels for our guests. This role is responsible for completing all hotel audit-related reports by the designated time, ensuring overnight security measures are followed, and receiving and noting all incoming mail as required. The Night Auditor must also greet guests happily, use their names whenever possible, and contribute to great guest satisfaction scores. They should have strong knowledge of hotel features and amenities, understand relevant technology, and answer all incoming calls with friendly service. Cleanliness is a team effort, and the Night Auditor may be expected to pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces as needed. All operational checklists must be completed accurately, and handover reports must be accurate and on time for effective shift-to-shift communication. Team members must wear a clean, approved uniform and be well-groomed, wearing a nametag and smiling at all times. Communication between team members should be clear, honest, and professional, with a 'can-do' attitude and a commitment to working together to create a welcoming environment.
