The Night Auditor is responsible for checking figures, postings, and documents for accuracy. This role involves recording, storing, accessing, and analyzing computerized financial information. The position also entails controlling and securing cash and cash equivalents according to company policy, organizing and maintaining all files and records, and preparing, maintaining, and distributing statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports. A key responsibility is auditing revenue postings and reconciling them. Additionally, the Night Auditor must follow all company safety and security policies, report accidents and unsafe conditions, and maintain awareness of any undesirable persons on the property. The role requires adherence to all company policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and professional appearance, protecting company assets, and ensuring the privacy and security of guests and coworkers. This includes welcoming and acknowledging guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing service needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and thanking guests with genuine appreciation. Communication skills are important, requiring clear and professional language, accurate and complete written documents, and appropriate telephone etiquette. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships, supporting team goals, and responding appropriately to employee concerns are also expected. The role must comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Physical requirements include moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Other reasonable job duties may be requested by Supervisors.
