About The Position

Eastside Lodge is seeking a Night Auditor to join their team. This role involves managing front desk operations overnight, ensuring guest satisfaction, and handling various administrative tasks. The Night Auditor is responsible for guest check-ins and check-outs, processing transactions, responding to inquiries, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas. This position also requires documenting guest incidents and maintenance issues, and assisting in other hotel operations as needed.

Requirements

  • Customer service experience required.
  • Experience handling cash, credit card transactions, and basic mathematical calculations.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review all guaranteed arrivals and verify that all credit cards are valid by processing authorizations for reservations that are not already checked in.
  • Explain and provide promotional items, hotel information, and property amenities to guests during check-in.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints, offering alternative solutions whenever possible.
  • Assist in other areas of hotel operations as needed.
  • Document guest accidents and incidents by completing the appropriate accident report forms.
  • Complete and maintain the maintenance log whenever a guest complaint or maintenance issue is reported.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all front desk and lobby areas.
  • Greet all guests in a friendly, welcoming, and professional manner.
  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
  • Handle cash, credit card, and debit card transactions in accordance with hotel policies.
  • Ensure guest information and reservation details are entered accurately into the property management system.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
