About The Position
The Night Auditor is responsible for supporting the front desk during overnight hours and completing daily financial audit procedures. This role involves assisting guests, ensuring safety and security, and producing accurate reports to support hotel operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and excels at balancing guest service with accuracy, enjoying a quieter shift that allows for focus and organization.
Requirements
- Previous front desk or night audit experience preferred
- Basic math and computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Calm, responsible, and able to work independently
- Capable of working consistent overnight shifts any day of the week including holidays and weekends
Responsibilities
- Complete nightly audit processes and balance daily revenue
- Run reports and ensure financial information is accurate and organized
- Assist guests with check ins, check outs, and service requests
- Monitor hotel safety and security during overnight hours
- Address guest concerns and resolve issues when possible
- Prepare the front desk for morning shift transition
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
